Our craftalong project for March, will be the Easter egg cosy (project 10 and page 13 of the 2005 edition of The Children's Year).

I imagine a sweet surprise, when the colorful felt chickens are lifted to reveal eggs.

Wouldn't you love to receive a present wrapped like this?

When I first saw the top picture, I thought it was a quilt; the potato prints are that sweet.

I love the forest theme, I am expecting a gnome to run out from behind a tree at any minute.
